A good start

Woke to sunshine this morning and decided to visit St Mawes, on the Fal estuary. We drove down some incredibly deep sunken lanes - I don't think I'd like to drive them in the busy season!

We passed the beautiful Caerhays Castle which is my Blip for today and stopped off at various beaches before being pounded by some incredibly heavy rain. On reaching St Mawes where we had a walk around the town before crossing the estuary on the King Harry ferry to visit the lovely garden at Trelissick. A good day all round.
