High and dry

What a difference a few hours make when it comes to tidal watching. Low water in Eling Creek today left moored craft sitting on mud banks, as it does twice a day, every day of the year.
Yet within an hour the tide will be rising and within four hours or so, the waterscape will be entirely different. High water will refloat all the boats that were sitting on mud banks at the time of my visit.
When the tide is in the creek is a popular and attractive spot, whether or not you are a sailing enthusiast!
