The lapwings are back

I only spotted 5 at the side of the loch this morning ..... the advance party I expect.

It was very damp and windy this morning. Fortunately the wind was blowing towards me so I was able to get fairly close to the lapwings .... until the little pooper scooper van drove by and the birds took to the air.

The weather improved quite a bit during the afternoon and we even had enough sun to cast a few shadows.
