It couldn't last!

.... the sunshine that is!
After enjoying two beautiful days there has been a real change ... dull, wet and windy today so opportunities for photographs have been very limited :-((

This rather jaggy Mahoney bush is growing by the side of the railway line ... at this time of year many of the leaves turn this beautiful shade of red. The leaves become very dry and are easily knocked off the stem so it's quite an achievement to find a stem with its complete set of paired leaves.
