Well I knew a few of you might work it out - but I didn't expect Hazelina to answer with the exact exactly answer, good local knowledge!
This is the overflow from Wet Sleddale Reservoir. It looked fab at a distance and just got better and better the closer I got, photo's didn't do it's hypnotic beauty justice.
