They did it!

There really couldn't be any other subject for my blip today. I'm incredibly proud of my two girls. Both completed in very respectable times and Kathryn took almost 10 minutes off her personal best. Although they got wet waiting at the start... (they looked fab in their bin bag coverups though!!!...) the weather was dry while they were running, apart from the first few minutes, which considering the forecast was a miracle. They agree it was the most beautiful setting for the run. They ran from Fort Augustus, round the head of the loch and all the way down the south side of Loch Ness to Inverness. They look so fresh in the pictures as they come in to the finish.

We're all exhausted, the girls from running and me from driving, I'm so stiff after sitting in the car for so long... getting old is uncomfortable at times but it won't beat me down!... and I'm hoarse from cheering too.
My 15008 steps sounds very inadequate compared to their total, but it's good enough for me.
