The Severn Bridge

One of the motorway bridges over the Severn.

Well, I've never been to Bristol before and it's probably the worst day I've had with a caravan in over 30 years. I'm just not happy with "The Palace" at the moment. The Compass Kensington is really playing up and we just don't know why. For a while the heating hasn't worked, the fridge hasn't worked and this time the 12V lighting and the running water aren't working. So we have 2 mains reading lamps at one end and have brought an inspection lamp and torches plus and electric heater. It must be a fuse or a wiring problem but we cannot trace it. And still I insist on cooking us proper meals just like I do at home! At least we're cosy warm and well fed, even if a little fed-up.

To add to this we turned up a into small lane with a dead end! Caravan had to be unhitched and swung around. Lucky we got a lavel place to do it.

On a bright note the little Caravan Club site is nice and has a lovely owner who was offering to make us a cup of tea when we arrived and we've been told deer come onto the site.
