Biodiversity

A wander into Borrowdale today ahead of the rain.
I'm running another Loving Lichens worksop at the end of the month, so my eye was initially drawn to the fabulous displays many are currently putting on. I also thought I might blip the fabulous colours on display as the old mixed woodland starts to turn, as the bracken blazes bronze across the fells. But as we walked further we started to realise that arachnids were everywhere, and this fine lady stole the show.
