I'd kinda thought as soon as we started to talk about operations and altered physiology he'd say I'd need a bespoke service, but in fact he said the opposite, that a solution may well take a lot of tweaks and I should start with some simple off the shelf products he could do then and there.
He even knew of my surgeon by réputation and was familiar with my very rare procedure.
As I'd begun to suspect I can strengthen everything pretty much except the tiny ligament the operation cut through, its just too small to be workable, even though its vital for how a foot should work. , So hopefully some orthotics can reduce strain on it, and settle down the pain flare ups.
He's even booked me back in for another free consult in four weeks!
