Golden Rod (Solidago)

Planted this last year as a self set from a friend.  A reminder of my childhood garden where it grew in great profusion.

Took No2 grandson out for lunch today as he was on a flying visit from London.  Dropped him off at the station for his return.  Had text since to say he got on Northbound train by mistake and was on Stoke on Trent platform!  He put it down to being tired.
Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering but obviously needs one on the map of England.
His sister did a similar thing when returning to London so maybe it is in the genes!
