When a group comes together

Crochet/knit group went out for lunch today, 28 of us and 2-4-1 cocktails!
We had just sat down at the table when one of the ladies got the terrible phone call to say her mum had just died.  Such an awful shock for her, I can't even imagine.  The group is like one huge family and two ladies drove her car home for her to make sure she got back safely and then came back in a taxi with everyone saying they would all put in to cover the cost. 

When the chips are down, it was so nice to see everyone come together to support one of our own.

Blip went straight out of the window so a quick photo of Shambles Square was all I had today.  The Old Wellington was built in 1552 and in 1999 the buildings were dismantled and moved 300 metres, being rebuilt at 90 degrees to each other.  On a dry day, it's always packed!
