We made some head way with some of the bigger items on the 'to do' list for our New Zealand trip....in 2 weeks. OMG!!! 2 weeks.
Hopefully we've found someone really nice and responsible to house and cat sit, fingers crossed she says yes. We spent hours trying to get the right insurance at the right price - it's done now, so we'll be covered for repatriation if we're ill or dead, although Hubs informed me that he doesn't want me to go to the bother of bringing him back if he dies, it's a waste of time and money, but he's happy for me to just throw a good memorial party in his honor. We're also covered for high jacking, disasters, earth quakes etc, but nothing useful like having our phones or ipad nicked!
The cars might be able to go a friend and we've had the offer of 2 lifts to the airport. Wonderful friends we will be having a fair well gathering and thank you for you all!
The sun shone today, so me and him got out on the bikes for our first New Year ride, 17 km and as many blip stops, ahhhh, it's good to home.
We're eating our way through the freezer contents over the next 2 weeks, there's going to be some interesting combinations coming up!
