Bikes in the car and over to Rhayader for a 35 mile ride of relentless ups and downs in the Elan Valley, complete with circling red kites, and including a 'side-project' involving the climb up to the Claerwen dam. The perfect length ride after yesterday's efforts, not exactly a 'recovery ride' but not so tough either. One pub lunch in LLandrindod Wells later and we were right as rain!

Night in, my pal had bought a bunch of cycling VHS tapes recently on ebay, so we munched on cheese and crackers, had a beer and delighted in the likes of Pour Un Maillot Jaune.
