Shore life
This morning we walked along the shoreline at Napeague Harbour (can't bring myself to drop the "u"!). Right at the edge of the water, we saw (and later identified with the aid of Google :D) lots of clusters of slipper shells with dead man's fingers attached. There was also this lone seagull who was repeatedly picking these up, flying a few feet into the air, and dropping them onto the the stony part of the shore to try to break the shells.
