Knit And Natter

I have been to visit my friend Jan this morning to help her with a knitting dilemma. She is making a scarf from a yarn called Cha-Cha - very weird but it knits up into a pretty ruffle. YouTube came to the rescue and we worked out how to knit the yarn.
The walk there and back was my exercise for today !
I am making a Dhal for supper in the slow cooker. We have a brilliant Chinese supermarket in Winchester where you can buy nearly every unusual ingredient known to man. I managed to buy a bag of curry leaves for 90p to flavour the Dhal. Never heard of them before so I am looking forward to the tasting.
