Bella!

Had to put a light throw on the bed last night.... still only got the 4.5 tog quilt on!

Chilly overcast morning, but dry, so off for a walk along the canal bank.......very quiet, other than the odd cyclist or dog walker. We didnt see a single boat until almost back to the car, when I heard the familiar guttural throb of a diesel engine behind me......happy to see Bella here chugging along, with her passengers suitably wrapped up for a chilly morn!

We walked into Leigh, called into Costa for coffee and toast to warm us up a little. On the way back hubs knee was really giving him some stick, the golf brolly really came into its own, as a walking stick ;-) Still he managed, we clocked up 11k steps.....and after a little rest and a cuppa back at the ranch, he has now just come indoors after mowing the back lawn!!

We are out for a meal tonight before quizzing, back to full strength with all six of us :-) not that that means anything necessarily ;-)
