First Frost Of Autumn

I thought we had had a visit from the aliens as I got near the playing field and saw the strange pattern on the grass. It turned out to be the grass cutter who seemed to have got lost.
As the sun got slightly higher the frost was melting and leaving drops on the leaf tips.

We had to collect some towels from Bags' house this morning as her dryer had caught fire …… after having had the 'safety upgrade' from the manufacturer. A new machine will be arriving tomorrow (different manufacturer) and an engineer will be coming next week to track down the cause. Luckily our son-in-law was working from home in the kitchen when things went to hell in a handbasket.
