The sun came out

A wet start to our walk from Allendale but it gradually improved, was dry by lunchtime and glimpses of sun before the end (see extra, as well).
Lovely mixed walk by raging rivers, through woods and fields, over moorlands and with some streams not normally present to walk in.
Good views across the valleys to north and south and could even see The Cheviot, and lots of evidence of past lead mining.
Another nice pub for an evening meal.
