My starters

Warm oysters in a leek and cream sauce, and it was very nice! We took Mike out to one of our favourite restaurants on the Ile d'Oleron, at Port des Salines where we were seated next to the head of tourism for the Charente Maritime!
We had taken Elvis with us for a walk around the nature reserve and as it wasn't a hot day, and very overcast, he waited in the car whist we were eating. He had a snooze and for once didn't try eating the car!
We had a good lunch and a scenic drive home taking a slight detour through Marennes and out to the Cite Des Huitres.
