Sunset Over Benedict

This evening the sunset was spectacular over the river. We drove across the bridge from Benedict to Hallowing Point and watched the sun set from a little park near the boat launch. The parking lot was flooded over from high tide which provided some fun reflections. 
Earlier today I tried to photograph an apple using the off camera flash. What a mess that was. Time for youtube and some serious work with the flash. I burned through a whole set of aa batteries and the camera battery without taking a single good shot of the apple. Gah - this flash! I am beginning to think that a good tripod trumps a flash any day.
