Carlisle to Gretna Green

Rachael and I went to Gretna Green! We may be married now lol!? The anvil was struck and the guide performed the ceremony with us so who knows?? Amazing place! We even witnessed a wedding complete with bagpipes.

There was a small part of Hadrian’s wall in our hotel which had been found in the 80s when an extension was built.

Cumbria Pride was brilliant, it was the 10 year anniversary and was in the grounds of Carlisle castle, lovely to see Soninke again and Janice Robinson live for the first time who was great.

Her Maj is lovely, wears all reproduction royal Jewels, really nice person. I felt very pleased for Glenn who started Prode here 10 years ago.

Rachael and I went for a lovely curry and both turned in early, I watched a Leonard Cohen documentary which was brilliant.
