Monday cocktails..the way forward!

Awoken by a barking Pete at 5.15am, I'm up, sort him and then manage another 30 mins in bed. 6am arrives and dressed and out walking til 7am with Pete.

Resigned to a rubbish journey into work, I am overwhelmed by the ease of it! 30 mins door to door?! Was it Sunday? Had I slept a week?

A good morning at work followed by an even better lunch. Met trace for lunch, it's her 50th tomorrow so treated her to a cocktail! Her and vic had a sparkly one and I settled for the hazelnut martini...oh oh heaven!

A Monday lunchtime cocktail is definately a first, and was a lovely change to the usual Monday.

A good afternoon, with meetings and then home at five. Traffic a breeze again and I'm home by 6! A long walk with Pete for an hour or so.

Finally settled down. Tea done, necessary tv done and then time to catch up on some charity paperwork.

Early start tomorrow, first new year visit to brum.
