Wheat Coates Tin Mine

This morning we drove the few miles to St Agnes for a walk along the coastal path towards St Agnes Head (see extra) then back to the village for a coffee.

From there we headed to Chapel Porth beach, run by the National Trust. After trying an unexpectedly pleasant baguette filled with sausage cooked in clotted cream (I know but I had to try it!), we set off for the disused tin mine along the coast path.

This view is as close as we got as we could see the rain sweeping in from the Atlantic so we hotfooted it for the car and the sanctuary of the lodge hot tub.

We can confirm that the local Indian restaurant does a very fine takeaway.
