After the rain........

After a wild night of torrential rain and blustery conditions we were fortunate to find the worst of the weather had passed over. We needed our waterproofs on the way to the start but I took mine off on the start line.

Another troublesome first control and some exposed uphill moorland running. However enjoyed the course and then jogged back to our accommodation with Jet. Glad to get back and have a hot shower.

On the way to and fro from the event passed this waterfall/spout that runs into the reservoir below. Couldn’t resist this fisher sat on the boom to stop debris hitting the dam too.

The weather has brightened up a bit but still rather blustery. Good to see Wales (Tom Francis is a local lad) had held on to beat Australia.
