Turn to stone.

J was going to visit the model shop this morning, but as they don't open until 11 o'clock, and I wanted to leave earlier, I caught the bus into town. I nearly missed this living statue sitting outside Santander. I put some money in his collection box and asked him if I could take a photo. I doubt he made much money as town was very quiet. Not the best of weather for The Elvis Festival in Porthcawl today. When I was on the bus coming home, I pressed the bell for my stop, when my phone rang. It was J,( he always rings at an inconvienent moment,) although it wasn't his fault. He was phoning to say that Alan, (the owner of the shop) had asked him to mind  the shop as he had left his phone at home. He was more than happy to oblige.
