A captive audience!

A sewing session organised by one of my quilting groups. The main meeting is a “watch and listen format”, but they now have a workshop / sit and sew session once a month. This is the first time I’ve attended and as a bonus I was give a lift by a friend who knows where it is held.

I didn’t do the workshop, so got the chance to see the huddle of eager observers.

I cracked on with my quilt, doing more piecing.

Home to watch World Championship athletics on the TV from Doha. I’m going to be glued to it for a few days.......!!!
On a non athletic note, I love the way that some of the women with long hair have got it plaited across their head. There may be men with similar styles, but I haven’t seen any yet.
