Above the bells

I went up above the bells into the roof of the tower to lend a hand/get in the way of the two people remaking the trap door that lets out the sound of the bells when open and insulates the sound when closed.  It required climbing up various ladders and clambering up over the bells to reach the top of the tower which has never been accessible until recently. In the afternoon I made Mrs TT a badge for the sash on her costume .  She will be in period costume at the weekend dressed as a French suffragette, "La femme doit Voter."
