Reiki lights

Today I started a 3-day course on Japanese Reiki techniques, to add to my previous attainments in this field. It's held at my beloved Burton Manor on the Wirral peninsular, a very special place of calmness, sanity and renewal (and great food!). Reiki means universal life-force energy, and links all living things, human, animal or plant. Reiki practitioners can channel the flow of energy to enhance the mood, health and wellbeing of the recipient, and it is a totally non-invasive therapy, working only for the greatest good of the individual. The large candle representing Reiki is surrounded by smaller lights, one for each person present in the circle - in this case, 9. In the background are pictures of the originators of this Japanese therapy, each with their own candle. Sending love and light to all who visit here. X.
