Menorca Day 11: Fortrait
Shadier a character in large.
Extra: Biggest splash
Back blip
After the winds and brewing swell of the 5th, we woke to dramatically stormy seas on 6th... I took loads of photos of the splashes, spray, waves, and rising sun, and it was exhilarating to see the gulls swooping low over the cliffs under the spray of the breaking waves (see extra).
We went to Fort Malborough in the morning, before heading along to Son Ganxo for lunch and a swim (the sea was calmer there; the wind was from the north, so Menorca was shading the south coast).
En route home, we stopped at the Poblat Talaiotic de Binissafullet near San Lluis; Imogen sketched, and I took pictures of the taula, talaiot, and rocks amongst the trees.
Other photos from this day are here (or right from Stormy (pre-)sunrise)
