After Pat had cut all the grass, I went outside to clean the grass cuttings from the fountain, put fresh water in the birdbath and water the plants.

Someone had forgotten to tell Mother Nature that it was now Autumn and not summer as it was 91°F/32.7°C and I was wet with sweat when I was finished.

I decided that since I was already hot and sticky that I would put my chair in the shade where there was some breeze and sit for a bit with my camera.

There were lots of birds at the feeders, dragonflies darting about and butterflies drinking from both the Canna Lilies & the Hummingbird feeder.

My friend Vada came by for a visit and she brought me a lemon meringue pie she made earlier today. By this time tomorrow it will be gone!
