BAD LUCK

I wonder whether the people who run Hartlepool's shopping centre know it's supposed to be bad luck to leave the decorations up after Twelfth Night. Perhaps they're hoping it'll prolong the Christmas shopping mood, but it wasn't working this afternoon. And I'm not sure how much more back luck they can take since about half the shop units are shut up and empty already.
