Cley windmill
The forecast was for rain, and rain it did!
After a damp walk around Cley, an extremely pretty village - and visiting the pottery and the gallery - we had a short stroll on the marshes. Took far too many a few shots of the windmill en route.
Then a drive to Sheringham, where we got decidedly wet, before sheltering in a cafe until the rain stopped. Enjoyed looking round the museum, especially the exhibition of folk art.
On to Cromer for a look round the town and walk on the pier. As MrM remarked on how much the weather had improved, the heavens opened! Thunder, lightning and torrential rain! Absolutely soaked as we hurried back to the car!
Back to the B&B for a change of clothes before going out for a meal at a nearby pub. Walked there, and enjoyed a very good dinner, but it rained heavily on the way back! Soaked again! But we soon dried off in the little bar at the B&B, where we enjoyed a drink with Ronan and Alan, and their three very friendly dogs!
