Morston Quay

Another amazingly hot, sunny day in North Norfolk! We packed our bags again this morning to move on from Heacham to our B&B in Cley on Sea.

Stopped off a few times en route, as is our wont! First, a long walk on the beach at Brancaster. Then, a walk on the marshes at Brancaster Staithes. A picnic lunch on Barrow Common. Finally, a lovely walk on the marshes at Morston Quay.

Arrived at our accommodation slightly later than intended, settled in, and then went in to Wells for a slightly disappointing fish & chip supper (it would be difficult to better Carlo’s, our local chippie, and this one didn’t quite make the grade!), and a drink. Back to the B&B and bed, after a fabulous day.
