Roof Restoration

I realise that you can barely see the roof, but this is drawing attention to the fact of the roof's vandalisation; the lead was ripped off with damage to the masonry resulting in addition to the loss of waterproofing.  It happened a while ago but the restoration is taking a while, given that it's a listed building.

But good will come of it: the project team is taking the opportunity to make the church more usable for the community, removing some pews to enable the use of the space more effectively.  There will also be solar panels and batteries, along with a robust theft-prevention system, of course.
