The deer park...

... at Studley Royal was resplendent in this morning's sunlight. However, the deer took quite a bit of finding, probably keeping in the shade. 

When I managed to find a large gathering, they didn't immediately disperse. That allowed me to put my latest lens combination through its paces, usins the new Olympus 2x converter attached to the M40-150mm PRO lens from quite a distance to capture this group.

I also used the same lens combination on the extra shot, looking from the deer park, down to the main entrance gate and beyond to the city centre with the sunlit front of Ripon Cathedral.
