Last days of summer
SATURDAY
Started the day with a drive over the moors to the Watergrove Parkrun (see extra). It's one of my favourite locations and supposedly the fifth hardest parkrun in the country. I finished in 26th position with a PB of 28:25
Breakfast on the patio at home (extra) - you can't believe that its now officially autumn. Spent the rest of the morning in the garden.
A trip over to Ilkley late afternoon - it was still 23°C at 6pm and people were dipping in the River Wharfe. The main blip is the pedestrian suspension bridge built in 1934. Three boys there were hanging over the side.
A meal at Pizza Express and a drive home in the dark.
