Where else but New York City? !!!

What a wonderful day! I found a beautiful cashmere cardigan in a thrift shop for $20 (bargained down from $30), wandered around the Village and Chelsea, stopped in to Gap to buy some leggings for yoga and ended up in Union Square. I was just about to leave when this band started playing on the roof of an old bus (sadly, the photo doesn't show the bus very well). The singer was fantastic. She started with a Janis Joplin song and had the voice to pull it off. It was such fun to be there, listen to great music and enjoy the whole "vibe", as they say here.

Then, the Hungarian Pastry Shop with Luca and his girlfriend, Susan. We had a really nice time chatting. They are so sweet together!

This evening, a take out dinner and Netflix :-)
