Vintage Cosiness

I've been looking for a blanket/bedspread for our bed on the boat for a while. The micro fibre or polar fleece ones are lovely and soft (I have one on the sofa) but for a while now I have been trying to reduce plastic and artificial fibres in my life because one way or another it can end up in the sea.
We moored in Saltaire last week and I came across a brilliant vintage shop. The lady had a few lovely woollen blankets which were old but new - as in never been used and still in the original packets. 
I had to have one and it is perfect - 100% British Wool and Made in England.
I washed it on a wool wash and it is so cosy and soft for the winter nights yet to come.
