Heading for Birsay bay

Probably my last walking tour of the season and what a day for it. Warm, sunny and very, very windy.

After a visit to both the stone circles the car dropped my two guests and myself at Marwick bay where we set off on our cliff top walk to Birsay bay. The guests loved it, especially the wind. It really was a beautiful walk today. Topped off with a group of seals perfectly placed on the rocks shortly before we arrived in Birsay village where our car was waiting.

I’ve really enjoyed my visits to Marwick over the summer but this tour was probably the best of the lot.
