On the sunny side of the street.
We we up at the crack of dawn, as J wanted to go to an auto jumble in Ross-on -Wye. He dropped me near the town centre , and as most of the shops were closed, I went for a coffee. By the time I had finished the shops were just opening. I browsed in all the charity shops, and there are a lot, and then went in a rather up market boutique. I saw a denim top I liked, and tried it on in two sizes ,( the smaller one fitted)I didn't much like the price, but I thought, why not, and I know I will get a lot of wear out of it, so I'm glad I bought it now, and J approved as well. J met a few of his friends in the auto jumble, so he had a good natter, and bought a few things. He phoned me to ask if I was ready, and we met in the car park and did a quick shop in Lidl, and then the plan was to go down the Wye Valley on the way home. Only a few miles out of Ross, and we hit heavy traffic, and we were bumper to bumper all the way to Monmouth. The traffic eased down the Wye valley, and we were going to stop at the Old Station for a coffe and snack. We couldn't park, so that was that. We then hit more heavy traffic on the M4 about six miles away from Newport, and we crawled all the way to the Brynglas tunnels, which is the bottleneck. Glad to be home now and looking forward to watching the first Strictly Come dancing.live episode of the new series. Check out my extra photos. Not really sure if any of them qualify for Silly Saturday, but thanks again to admirer for hosting.
