Farewell

The builders arrived bright and early to complete some pointing and repair our side access ramp which was damaged. Really pleased with their work.

We left them to it to have lunch with Stephen on our way to York Station as he travelled back to London. Really enjoyed my sandwich and cuppa at Manions near to York Minster.

Stopped to take a picture or two the way back to the car. This is the West window of York Minster which had it’s tracery totally replaced by the talented resident stone masons.

Back to just the two of us and the dog. The house seems empty and rather quiet.
