Storm Survivor

Lots of storm damage in the woods. Some trees uprooted and large branches brought down in the high winds.

I wasn’t expecting to find much inspiration today. However, this tiny butterfly caught my eye and kindly gave me a flash of its orange wings. I believe it is a Small Copper but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Case packed and just had a chat with Stephen who is on his way back to London after a case in North Wales. Looking forward to our trip to see him tomorrow.
