River of Flowers

Friday: New Plants, Spring Bulbs ...

... a Holly Tree with berries for first time and one of last Bardsey eating apples.
Another beautiful sunny day, this is becoming repetitive...!
Had a couple of gardening jobs I didn’t manage to do yesterday: finished cutting back the buddleia by the back wall and potted up daffodil bulbs mixed with crocus, “Tamara” was free from the garden centre the others from Home Bargains. Planted out the bare rooted wallflowers I bought on Wednesday.
Finally removed Cavollo Nero kale and Red Cabbage plants from their protective net, I think all the caterpillars have gone ... hope the slugs don’t munch them!!
It’s been very hot, temperature in low twenties and I’m very tired after all the gardening this week, but I’m happy with all the space in the garden now!
Wishing everyone a happy Weekend x
