Allegiance o Scarborough

A gentle breeze, and that fell away this evening.  Mostly cloudy, but there was some warm sunny spells.

Another day working on the museum desk, and another fairly quiet day.  I did have a few deliveries to do in the afternoon.  A fine walk around Scalloway with Sammy, and the big ebb this evening meant we could go places we don't normally get.  Off to work in the pub later.

The Scarborough trawler, Allegiance SH 90 has been up on the slip below my house for a few days now.  She broke down out at sea about a week ago, gearbox troubles.  She's been pulled up the slip, and repairs have begun.  A muckle fishing boat like this won't have a cheap gearbox!  Taken at the Malakoff, Moore's Slip, Scalloway.
