Seminar

Up and away from Hastings this morning for the drive north to Rochester.

We had a trade seminar being run in conjunction with Kent Fire & Rescue Services (KFRS). It was well attended and the presentations were very informative ranging from lessons learned (or not) from Grenfell to Sprinklers in Schools.

The guys are so passionate about fire protection and life safety.

After the main event i stayed in for the KFRS road safety experience. It is aimed at 14-24 year olds and it hard hitting but can really be aimed at any drivers who occasionally speed, text, get distracted etc.

Afterwards I walked the 2.4 miles to the railway station and got the train to Stansted with changes at Stratford and Tottenham Hale. Missed a connecting train!!

Flight home to Edinburgh tonight.

Spoke to L and she was very disappointed that both Ariana Grande and her support act swore at last nights concert.

No need to say the F word 6 times she said :-)
