view from downtown

Inspired by others to try my hand at something other than nature photos on my daily dog walks, I took my camera downtown this afternoon. And much to my surprise, it was a lot of fun!
Here is a view of Pikes Peak down an alleyway. In extras, is a photo of a very realistic mural on the side of a toy shop. Notice that in the mural, the airplane is casting a shadow, and the store window is reflecting buildings and trees!
There were also a lot of interesting people on the streets, like a lady with green hair, and people with their dogs at an outdoor bar, and of course the everpresent homeless folks and joggers. But I am not up to that kind of street photography...yet.
