One Shot

Today was the day to do some exploring in downtown Chicago.  This is "a shot" from our main destination, Hamilton: The Exhibition at Northerly Island Park.  It was a long walk to get there but it was a beautiful day.  We were lucky to see the exhibition.  We found out yesterday it would be closing early so we made it a point to get there today.  It was really cool and very well presented. (we saw the musical in March) I hope it finds a permanent home somewhere "out east" (which is the hope of the creators). Afterward we took a water taxi to Navy Pier for lunch and then headed back to campus for the family picnic.

A good day in the city, but we're dreading the big goodbye tomorrow. :-/
