Well. We made it to South Uist.

Ferry crossing wasn't too bad actually. Although we were both exhausted and a little bit stressed.
However the Earth House we are staying in is something else Fantastic!  Right on the lochside.  The sun was shining, and we sat amongst the heather with a glass of prosecco while the pups played in the water. Not another soul around.
Today we went to the beach, which entailed a walk across the golf course.  The beach is strewn with huge pieces of seaweed, torn up in the storm. The views are fantastic here. I think I like South Uist!
