Giant Baubles!

Home sweet Home and could not resist this as my blip for today!

Arrived in at 8am after a really smooth flight and only a slight delay collecting luggage.

Home to a coffee and a few hours of 'catchup' on the sleep front! Somehow those two don't really go together...but no adverse effect from the caffeine...I still slept!

and so did GK....and longer than me!!

Decided some fresh air was necessary before getting our body clocks back on track...so headed for the beach area and it was just .....bbrrracing!! Hadn't expected it to be so coool but was good for the purpose we went for and that was .....walking!

Lots of people were out enjoying it too which attracted the usual spectator crowd...as in these two sitting astride these giant baubles. Wonder if they know its Epiphany tomorrow and have to take them down!

Dived into our favourite 'Chicken Tikka Inn' restaurant en route to the flat and had our usual...which generally is enough for us to take a doggy bag home for the next day!

So missed it while away! Nothing quite like the spices of here and the way they cook them into scrumptious dishes!

Home and an earlyish night for me after a few quick calls home to let everyone know all is well.
