Overy Staithe

I woke very early and after much vacillation I headed off ahead of the weather front and drove directly down to the staithe and walked down to East Head for a swim. I was struck by how much warmer it was compared with the lake - perfectly comfortable just in a swimming costume. Very nice and nicely warm when I got out too. Timed it just right... the skies darkened and it was soon quite overcast.
